Rehab Facility

My first big project in my professional career was the interior renovation of a building into a much needed rehab facility in Weston, MA. It was also my introduction project into healthcare and working with ADA compliance. The building also wanted to be ID certified, meaning that there needed to be a certain amount of rooms that are designated as shelter in place in relation to the size of the building. Some parts of the building were to remain untouched and multiple units were reorganized to be ADA compliant. There was a lot of plumbing equipment and reorienting of bathrooms throughout the project which required a lot of coordination with the MEP engineering consultants on the project.
